Geraldine Heyne

Geraldine "Geri" Heyne, 72, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her daughter's home. Born in Hazard, KY on April 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Paris Wilburn and Alma Lee Messer Minton. She was retired from the Owensboro Medical Health System where she was a Nurse Assistant. Ms. Heyne loved outdoor activities, walking, and gardening. She read her Bible everyday and enjoyed Christian music.

Surviving are her children, Karen (Jim) Fleming and Bryan (Sue) Heyne of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jessica Fleming, Raven Fleming, Jake Fleming, Carly Crawford, and Kim Mattingly; great-grandchildren, K'Asia Palmer, Tre'Von Kelly, Ma'Kayah Fleming, Mia McKenzie, Laydan Crawford, Dylan Crawford, and Jayson Crawford, Kali Goatee, Chelsey Goatee, and Amber Mattingly; brothers, Clyde Wilburn and William Wilburn, and an uncle, Hugh Messer, Jr.

Sevrices are 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. before the service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
