Geraldine Greenwell

Geraldine Greenwell, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1937 in Daviess Co., KY to the late William Oscar and Florence Greer Cline. She was retired as a night clerk with the Quality Inn and was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Turner Greenwell, Sr. on February 7, 1993, and her five brothers and sisters, James Lee Cline, Charles William Cline, Katherine Marie Ashby, Anna Louis Unsel, and Eva Mae Cline.

Surviving are three sons, David (Teena) Cline of Owensboro, Rickie Dwayne (Lori) Greenwell of Hancock Co., and Clifford Turner Greenwell, Jr. of Owensboro, 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
