Geraldine Benham

Ms. Geraldine "Dena" Benham age 89 of Owensboro passed away with her family by her side on May 10, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Fannie Lee (Cecil) Foster. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Clayton Benham on September 13, 2008.

Ms. Benham was a former member of Community Baptist Church, she was a current member of Crosspointe Baptist Church of Owensboro. She loved cooking, bowling, and especially time with her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her daughter: Brenda (Larry) Royal of Owensboro, two grandsons: Tim (Sheilia) Royal, David (Debbie) Royal, brother: Roscoe "BoBo" Foster of Owensboro, 7 great grandchildren: Matthew (Amanda) Royal, Joshua Royal, Luke Royal, Caleb Royal, Nikki (Chris) Hatfield, Casey (Adam) Mattingly, Jonathan Royal. great great grandchildren: Ashtyne Hatfield, Cade Hatfield, Shelby Hatfield, Ana Royal, Axl Royal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters: Dorothy Robertson, Loriane Morrison, Linda Sturgeon, Pat Brown, brothers: Bill, Ott, Jay, Charlie, Wendell Foster

Funeral services will be Thursday May 14, 2015 at 10:00am at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ferrell Isenberg officiating, with visitation Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
