Gerald "Jerry" Christian
January 12, 1936 — April 28, 2017
Gerald "Jerry" Christian, 81, of Owensboro passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home. Mr. Christian was born January 12, 1936 in Daviess County to the late James and Dorothy Christian. Gerald served his country in the U.S. Navy and then worked for and retired from AT&T. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and loved the New England Patriots. Gerald had a wonderful sense of humor.
Mr. Christian was preceded in death by his sister.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Owensboro; his four children, Michael, Peter, Katherine, and Janet Christian; three brothers; and numerous grandchildren and step-children.
A service will be held at 5:30 PM on May 26 at Faith Lutheran Church with Reverend Jane Rothmann officiating. Burial will be in a veteran's cemetery where he will receive military honors.
