Georgia Ellen Rusher Taylor

Georgia Ellen Rusher Taylor, 63, of Owensboro, died November 16, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born August 23, 1951 to the late William Rusher and Mary Grace Huskisson.

Georgia was of the Baptist faith. She was a fun and outgoing person who enjoyed friends, family and UK.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Hill, Jr.; her partner, John Beal; a brother, Billy Joe Rusher; and a sister, Patricia Allen.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristie Cline (Scott) and Tonya Lynn Payne; daughter-in-law, Crystal Hill; grandchildren, Christopher Cline, Brookelyn Cline, Megan Cline, Blake Payne, Aaron Hill and Roger Ian Hill; great grandchildren, Raylee Cline and Kaison Cline, all of Owensboro; brothers, William Floyd Rusher (Janet Hogan) of Louisville, KY, Thomas Eugene Huskisson and Raymond Lee Huskisson, both of Owensboro; a sister, Linda Grace Barrentine (Harold) of Keller, TX and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 12 PM Wednesday, November 19 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. J.W. Haire will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 PM and after 10 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
