Georgia Fitzgerald Moseley

Georgia Fitzgerald Moseley, 88, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center-Hillcrest. She was born on March 25, 1925 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Samuel Leo and Ruth Alvey Fitzgerald. She was retired as a secretary after 26 years with the Carpenter's Union Local #549. Georgia was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed Word Search games and was an avid U. K. basketball fan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. Moseley on September 2, 2007.

Surviving are family members, Joe (Terri) Moseley, Judy Arnold, Debbie Moseley, and Becky Phillips, all of Owensboro, Bobby (Laverne) Alvey of Madisonville, Brenda (Earl) Ijames of Hartford, Judy Alvey, Debbie Roberson, and Wayne Alvey, all of Owensboro, and Becky Taylor of Montana.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio Co. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.M. Thursday and after 9:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
