Georgia Lee Hines

February 27, 1913 — May 6, 2001

Mrs. Georgia Lee Brite Hines, 88, of 4789 Leitchfield Rd, Owensboro, died Sunday, May 6, 2001 at her home. The Ohio County native had worked at Brown and Williamson Tobacco for 14 years in Louisville, was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Her first husband, Leonard Brite, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Chester M. Hines; a son, Wayne Hines of Philpot; foster son, Jack Mattingly of Cave City; a foster daughter, Linda White of Anderson, IN., four grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ira Mae Robinson of Owensboro, Maggie Ree Patton of Habit and Louise English of Pleasant Ridge; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Bethabara Baptist Church. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice.
