Georgia Mae Henning, 91, of 157 Church Street, Owensboro, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Bishop Soenneker Home in Knottsville. She was born May 6, 1914 to the late George and Gilly J. Brown Cooper in Daviess County. She was retired from General Electric, a member of St. Peters of Alcantara Catholic Church, enjoyed quilting, making craft dolls, being with her grandchildren and visiting and caring for people at Davco Nursing Home.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Bernard Lee Henning; five daughters and sons-in law, Mary and Jimmy Keller, Dorothy and James Schartung, Patty and Lou Caler, Jean and John Lindauer and Debby and Mark Mulligan, all of Owensboro; 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; a sister, Annetta Fulkerson of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:30 AM Friday at St. Peters of Alcantara Catholic Church with burial in St. Peters Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, with prayers at 6:00 PM at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Soenneker Home,Att: Activities Dept. 9545 Hwy 144, Philpot, KY, 42366.
