George Earl Wooldridge
June 26, 1924 — June 15, 2001
Mr. George Earl Wooldridge, 76, of 3122 Queens Way, Owensboro, died Friday, June 15, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a millwright and member of the Blessed Mother Catholic Church. He enjoyed farming and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Wooldridge in 1996.
He is survived by a son, George Ray Wooldridge of Owensboro; two daughters, Judy Blandford of Owensboro and Janie Staples of Utica; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Eddie Wooldridge of Rockport, IN, and Paul Wooldridge of Owensboro; and four sisters, Mary Martha Kyle and Jane Cravens both of Owensboro, and Margie Howard of Knottsville and Margaret Fouche of Memphis.
Funeral services are 1 P.M., Monday, June 18 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the St Anthony Cemetery in Brown's Valley. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M., Sunday and after 9 A.M. Monday.
