George A. Stevens

George A. Stevens, Jr., 70, of 2725 McFarland Ave., Owensboro, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born March 15, 1937 to the late George and Annie Jenkins Stevens, Sr. in Asheville, NC. He was a member of the Sharon United Methodist Church in Asheville, and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his daughter, Susie N. Stevens of Owensboro, an unborn grandson, a step-daughter, Brenda Webster of Owensboro, and his ex-wife, Betty Stevens of Owensboro, his sister, Martha S. Lewis of Annapolis, MD

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial and Military Services in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home.
