George David Howard
October 1, 1958 — June 16, 2014
George David Howard, 55, of Owensboro died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Daviess County, and had served his community and his country for 28 years as a clerk for the United States Post Office. David was preceded in death by his father, George A. Howard in 2012.
He is survived by his fianc and companion of many years, Shelia Shively; mother, Nancy Norris Howard; uncle, Lewis Ray (wife Judy) Norris; several cousins and many friends.
To all who knew and loved David he requested no services, to be cremated, and for everyone to celebrate his life with memories.
A 1976 graduate of Owensboro Senior High, please make expressions of sympathy to the high school.
