George P. Cooper

George Cooper, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph F. and Mary Bell Cooper.

Surviving are two brothers, Steve Cooper and wife Etta and Tony Cooper and wife Linda, all of Owensboro, three sisters, Sister Maggie Cooper, S.C.N. of Belize, Central America, Ann Bittel and husband Jim of Lewisport, and Cathy Brooks of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 14 at Immaculate Catholic Church, Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 9:00 A.M. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boulware Center Mission, 609 Wing Ave., Owensboro, Ky. 42303.
