Geneva Logsdon Wall

Geneva L. Wall, 92, of Pinckneyville, formerly of Owensboro, KY, passed away at 11:46 A.M., Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin, IL.
Geneva had been a ladies clothing buyer at S.W. Anderson's Department Store. She was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Owensboro, KY. She was also a member of the Woodlawners Church Group and Homemakers Club.
She was born October 9, 1919 in Daviess County, KY, the daughter of Richard Clint and Martine (Alvey) Logsdon.
She married Clyde Wall on September 26, 1940 in Daviess County, KY and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2006.
She is survived by one daughter - Linda K. Lee and husband Gerald of Tamaroa, IL, one granddaughter - Danielle D. Gratton and husband Mike of Dubuque, IA, two great grandchildren - Adeline Geneva Gratton and Sophia Rose Gratton, both of Dubuque, IA, one niece - Patty Evans of Indiana, and one nephew - Jeff Payne of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister - Mary Payne.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2011 in Peace Chapel, Rosehill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Savage officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church or donor's choice. .
