Geneva Benningfield Elliott

Geneva Benningfield Elliott, 87, of 4339 Wayne Bridge Rd., Owensboro, died Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a homemaker and member of the St. Martin Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Elliott in 1990 and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Krampe and Joan Fritz both of Owensboro; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Hagan of Owensboro; and her friend and care-giver, Michelle Finch.

Funeral services are 11 A.M. Friday, October 25, 2002 at St. Martin Catholic Church with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday, October 24, 2002 and after 8:30 A.M. on Friday. Prayers will be said at 7 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
