Gary Howard Trego

Gary Howard Trego, 56, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2006 at his home. Born December 15, 1949 in Daviess County, he was the son of the late James Arthur and Barbara Jean Howard Trego. Mr. Trego was a carpenter and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He enjoyed collecting knives, lighters, and model planes and watching western movies. He was preceded in death by brothers, James Arthur Trego, Jr. and John Floyd Trego.

He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Kathy Lynn Rheinlander Trego; daughters, Danielle Trego, Stephanie Trego, and Jenny Watts all of Florida; step-children, Delores Ann Frazier of Beaver Dam and William Lee Eakins of Indiana; brother, Lawrence Wayne Trego of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Pat (and Buddy) Benton and Mary Jo Trego of Florida, Kathy (and Dick) Yockey of Texas and Lynda (and Brent) Trogden of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3290 Highway 60 East, Owensboro. There will be no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
