Gary Dean Sosh, 45, of Whitesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Sosh worked for the State Highway Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator 3, was a graduate of Apollo High School and a believer in the Christian Faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and whose favorite place to be was on Kentucky Lake. Mr. Sosh was a loving husband and father who was devoted to his family; dedicated to his job, a dependable and loyal person who was a man of his word. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Allen Sosh.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kimberly Sosh; a son, Joshua Sosh, at home; his mother, Evelyn Sosh of Hawesville, Ky; his siblings, Rev. Larry Sosh and his wife Monie, Brenda Moore and her husband Ben and Johnny Sosh and his wife Janice; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, at 2:30 p.m. in the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Nickel Ridge Cemetery.
