Gary Wayne Royalty

Gary Wayne Royalty, 61, passed away September 22, 2017 at KentuckyOne Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born March 30, 1956, in Daviess Co. to L.D. and Billie Royalty. Gary worked at Kroger for many years, and enjoyed cooking and raising various plants. He also really loved to hunt and fish, especially deer and turkey, raising honey bees, and always knew just when to show up at your house as dinner was being prepared.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Rea Royalty, and Jake and Margie Greathouse.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, L.D. and Billie Royalty; brothers, Ronnie Royalty and his wife Katie of Owensboro, and Donnie Royalty and his wife Cheryl of Henderson; a daughter, Amanda Royalty; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, September 25, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Bill Skipworth, Bro. Jerry Francis, and Bro. Henry Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion General Baptist Church Cemetery in Reed, KY. Visitation will be 10 AM – 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
