Gary Robert "Rob" O'Bryan

Gary Robert "Rob" O'Bryan, 54, passed away on January 11, 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christina Vittitow O'Bryan; two sons, Isaac O'Bryan and Jacob O'Bryan; his parents Gary and Jeanne O'Bryan; a sister Stacy (Buddy) Hoskinson; a brother Randy (Kelly) O'Bryan.

Rob's greatest joy was hanging out with his sons. He and Christina shared their love of travel. He traveled with his family to more than 40 states and together they cruised through the Panama Canal, much of the Caribbean, and Alaska. Rob was an avid basketball fan, a passion he shared with his boys. After retiring, Rob enjoyed starting the day with his brother for a leisurely breakfast and conversation, along with daily check-ins with his parents.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 1:00 pm. to 5 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. A private service and burial will be held at a later time.

Rob and the family would like to express their thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Benjamin Keeley, Dr. Bashar Mourad, and Dr. Roshan Mathew who provided excellent care and compassion. Thanks also to the many other doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who met Rob's needs at Owensboro Health and Jewish Hospital Louisville.
