Gary Lee Jones, 58, of Philpot, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his home. He was born in Owensboro to William S. (Jr.) and Patsy A. McCrystal Jones.
Gary was an electrician with the Local IBEW who worked with several companies through the years. He was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church. Gary was a hard worker who was very handy. He enjoyed baseball in his younger years and had a passion for different types of motorcycles.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, William S. Jones, Jr., in 1995.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy A. Jones; siblings, William P. Jones (Elizabeth) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Stephen T. Jones (Stevie) of Owensboro, Donna Pressley (Homer) of Madison, AL, Brian K. Jones (Becky) of Springdale, AK and Robin Huskisson (Brad) of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 PM Saturday, September 3 at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Chapel.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 AM until 1:30 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
