Gail Harrison

Gail Harrison, 43, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Cheyenne, WY on October 27, 1968, she was a 1986 graduate of Daviess County High School; worked in the Mortgage Department of US Bank; and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Gail loved animals, running and exercising, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Harrison in 1969; grandparents, Thurman Harrison and Keith and Mary Jane Shultz; and uncles, Van Harrison and Anton Harrison.

Surviving is her mother and step-father, Beth and Dan Greenwell of Owensboro; a sister, Kim (Steve) Porter of Owensboro; a grandmother, Ann Harrison of Madison, IN; nieces and nephews, Stephen, Brandon, and Krystal Porter; an aunt, Sandy (Dennis) Thacker of Madison, IN; uncles, Fred Shultz and Troy Harrison of Madison, IN; and several cousins.

Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Graveside service will be 12 noon (EST) on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at St Patrick Cemetery in Madison, IN.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or to the Miraculous Medal Society.
