G. Vincent Hayden

G. Vincent Hayden, 62, of 2057 Little Stream Run, Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late James U. & Mary Edna Fischer Hayden. He was retired after 29 years as Manager of Big Rivers Agri-Supply which is a division of Miles Farm Supply. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and had been a Eucharistic minister for 30 years. He was a 1967 graduate of Western Ky. University and enjoyed golfing, reading, and playing with his grandchildren. He cherished very much his Catholic faith and all his family. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Hayden in 1972, and three sisters, Doris Jane Hayden in 1942, Betty Oberst in 1990, and Mildred Ivey in 1999.

Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Linda Freels Hayden, two sons and their wives, Richard & Jennifer Hayden and Matthew & Brandi Hayden, all of Owensboro, four granddaughters, Reese, Sarah, Lily, and Evie Hayden, three brothers and their wives, Norman & Judy Hayden, and John & Josie Hayden, all of Owensboro and Delbert & Ellen Hayden of Bowling Green, Ky., and three sisters, Sue & husband Bill Hill, Lucille Wright, and Carol & husband Bill Cecil, all of Owensboro, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with entombment following in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 6:00 P.M. Friday.
