Frederic Ames Tag Triplett, 80 of Owensboro died Thursday, June 13, 2002 at Hermitage Manor. His wife, Elizabeth Cary Triplett died November 29, 1998.
The Owensboro native was a furniture maker and retired owner of Kentucky Woodcrafters, a member of First Presbyterian Church, and a Army Air Corps veteran of WW II, having served in the Ferry Command and received the Air Medal with two clusters, three battle stars and the European Campaign Medal.
Survivors include a son, Frederic Ames Triplett, Jr., of Owensboro; a daughter, Cary Triplett Stevens of Winston-Salem, NC; five grandchildren and a brother, Robert Triplett, Jr. of Arlington, VA.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002 and from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Memorial Fund of First Presbyterian Church.
