Freddy Dean Hatfield

February 11, 1949 — January 25, 2004

Freddy Dean Hatfield, 54, died Sunday, January 25th at his home in Stanley. The Daviess county native was retired from the U.S. Navy, and a veteran of the Vietnam War.He also was employed formerly at Owensboro Grain Company and farmed, and was a member of Stanley Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his father,Francis M. Hatfield in 1980,brother, Sam Hatfield in 1999, and Sister, Lisa Robertson in 2000.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years,Patricia Louise Hatfield, a son, Paul L. Hatfield of Kentwood, MI, daughter, Jennifer L.Harris of Owensboro, and his mother, Mildred Hatfield, brothers, Barry Hatfield, Randel Hatfield, Mark Hatfield, all of Owensboro, Brother Jeff Hatfield of Hawesville, Keith Hatfield of Paducah, Ky, and a sisters, Dorothy Young of Owensboro,and Rita Richards of Reynolds Station, three granddaughters, Brittany, Stephanie, and Amanda Ellezey, and grandsons, Jacob Harris and Joseph Hatfield, and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
