Freda Jane Thompson Edwards

Freda J. (Thompson) Myers Edwards, 73, of Hartford, passed away on December 28, 2012 at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Muhlenberg County to the late Oscar and Ina (Devine) Thompson.

Freda retired from Peabody and Amax Coal. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Hobbs (Steve) of Owensboro, Susan Behl (Craig) of Owensboro and Teresa Cardwell (Philip) of Bowling Green, KY; one son, Barry Myers (Kim) of Whitesville, KY; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Ashby (Heather), Andrew Behl (Dana), Sara Wade (Nathan), Travis Shown (Jenny), Natalie Young (David), Rachel and Will Myers; two great grandchildren, Braylin Ashby and Zoe Behl; and three sisters, Doris Callahan, Judy Morris and Nancy Ferguson.

A private service will be held with burial at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Olaton, Kentucky.
