Franklin Eugene Payne, 52, of Owensboro died Sunday, September 16, 2001 at the Murfreesboro Veterans Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. The Daviess County native was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral, a veteran of the United States Army, and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Nellie Payne, of Owensboro, three brothers; Charles Payne and James Payne of Owensboro and Larry Payne of Bowling Green, and a sister, Ellen Payne of Owensboro.
Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday in the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is from 9 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Wednesday. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
