Frankie Lee Horn, Sr., 63, of 6003 Hwy 1389, Owensboro, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born August 11, 1941 to Jesse Eugene and Imogene Baird Horn in Daviess County. He was a dozer operator and a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and building race cars, which he loved to watch race.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Horn in 1998, one son, Dennis Lee Horn in 1964 and one daughter, Judy Gail Horn in 1968.
Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Alice Louise Faught Horn; one son, Frankie L. Horn, Jr. of Owensboro; two daughters, Sara Jane Carrico and her husband, Jim, of Lewisport, Penny Lynn Horn of Owensboro; mother, Imogene Horn of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Mellisa Marie Carrico and Gregory David Shock, Jr.; one brother, Charles Horn of Owensboro, one sister, Diane Ferguson of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
