Frank Wayne deCaussin

Frank Wayne deCaussin, 72, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his home. Wayne was born August 26, 1953, in Muhlenberg County, to the late Adrian and Evelyn Heath deCaussin.

Wayne loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of By His Side Fellowship Church and the Freewind Motorcycle Ministries and enjoyed spreading the gospel, he had proudly become an ordained minister. Wayne was an avid fisherman and could turn a “fishing story” about a small fish into a rather large catch! Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, children, and his 7 grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as “Dude”.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Adam Hodges; and a great-grandson, Archie.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Chaffin deCaussin; a daughter, Kelly (Brent) Kuykendall; a son, John (Jindy) Hodges; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cole, Jewell, Blake, Julia, Brittany, and Joseph; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Norman (Debbie) deCaussin; and 2 nephews.

Funeral service for Wayne will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be left for the family of Wayne deCaussin at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
