Francis Wallace Peay, 86, of Owensboro, died Monday, June 9, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Butler County native was a homemaker and member of the Church of God. She enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and watching christian T.V. programming. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Peay in 2001 and a daughter, Hazel Pearl Peay in 1936..

She is survived by two sons, Claude Randall Peay of West Louisville and William Ray Peay of Louisville; four daughters, Mary Frances Kellems, Carolyn Kaye Dillon, Pamela Faye Shelton, and Norma Jean Outlaw all of Owensboro; a son-in-law, Jack Keller of Owensboro; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 11 A.M. on Wednesday.
