Frances Virginia Shutt

Frances Virginia Shutt, 85, of 2885 New Hartford Rd., Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late James Bruce and Edna Leona Ferguson Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she was involved with the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed cooking, flower and vegetable gardening, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randall O. Shutt on June 18, 2007 a son, Randall W. Shutt on July 11, 2006.

Surviving are a son, Michael Shutt and wife Kenna of Owensboro, five grandchildren, Tammy Russell and husband Mike of Seattle, WA, Amy Hein and husband Jon of Lexington, Jasen London and wife Krystal of Owensboro, Mandy Cordero and husband Angel of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Nathan Shutt and wife Audra of Owensboro, and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
