Frances Tooley Roberts

Frances Tooley Roberts, 78, of Owensboro, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at the Hermitage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Warren Co., Ky. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and had been active in the Legion of Mary, Telephone Pioneers of America, and as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking gardening, sewing, and attending sports events. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace F. Roberts, Jr. on February 23, 2000.
She is survived by 3 Sons, Joseph Anthony Roberts of Owensboro, Mark David Roberts of Masonville, and Warren Francis Roberts of Lees Summit, MO, 2 Daughters, Celia Ellen Roach and Julia Ann Houston, both of Owensboro, a brother, William Tooley of Louisville, a sister, Jane Washer of Cadiz, 15 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Step Great Grandchild.
Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 27, at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Donations made be made in her memory to the Hospice Association, 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, Ky. 42301 or to the St. Joseph Peace Mission for Children, P. O. Box 23108, Owensboro, Ky. 42304. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
