Frances Klein Myles, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born May 8, 1918 in Evansville, she was the daughter of the late Harrell and Ruth Goodley Campfield; retired as the Medical Office Manager for Dr. Duncan Johnson; and was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Myles enjoyed gardening, loved spending time with family, and was formerly a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine and the American Association of Medical Assistants. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, John Klein and William C. Myles, Sr.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Wanda) Klein of Lexington; a daughter, Nancy Klein (David) Veal of Louisville; a step-son, William C. (Mary) Myles of Campbellsville; a step-daughter, Mary Katherine (Paul) Thompson of Owensboro; grandchildren, John (Nancy) Klein, Lonnie Klein, and Francy (Phil) Vaughan of Henderson; step-grandchildren, Lisa Hall, Lana Bridges, and Lori Leathers; three great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Maurice Dill of Evansville, IN.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dr. Glenn Sowards and Fr. Michael Mernagh officiating followed by burial in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
