Frances "Dean" King, 78, of Golden Living Center, Tell City, Indiana, died Saturday, August 22, 2009. She was born in Daviess County to the late James Hubert and Helena (Bowlds) Estes. She was a seamstress who had worked for the Bridal House, eighteen years at Newman's Formal Wear and retired from Mr. Tuxedo. She was a member of Sorgho Baptist Church, and loved gardening, sewing, fishing and spending time with her family.
Her husband of 48 years, William Delbert King preceded her in death in 2000, as well as 5 brothers and a sister.

Surviving are her children; Barry (Kim) King of Maceo, Beverly Marie (Don) Graves, and Theresa Ann King both of Tell City, IN., and Janice (Tony) Galloway of Owensboro, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, a brother; Arkie Estes of Maceo, five sisters; Mary Francullo of Lynn, MA., Barbara Brown and Ginger Ray of Maceo, Judy Powers of Hawesville, and Mackie Stroud of Owensboro

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday August 26, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
