Frances Marie Kassinger

Frances Marie Kassinger, 85, of Owensboro, died April 26, 2006 at her home. The Daviess County native was born September 15, 1920 to the late Lowell H. and Anna R. Moore. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband, Calvin T. Kassinger, Sr., a grandson, Zachary D. Kassinger, and her sister, Flossie Moore.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Sherman W. and Sharon Kassinger of Calhoun, Calvin T. Jr. and Genon Kassinger of Owensboro, Randall D. and Nila Kassinger of Owensboro, and Bruce L. Kassinger of West Virginia, her brothers, L.G. Moore of Owensboro, and Lawrence Moore of Owensboro, her sister, Mary E. Anderson of Owensboro, her caregiver, Pam Fuqua of Owensboro, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Devine officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2006 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home.
