Frances Swanagan Johnson

Frances Swanagan Johnson, 67, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born in Owensboro on July, 1 1947, to the late Robert and Zula Mae Parks Swanagan. Frances was a woman of the Christian faith who enjoyed working puzzles, junking at yard sales, and watching TV. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Monroe Johnson, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Kathryn Swanagan; grandchildren, Courtney Swanagan, Garrett Parm, and Darius Parm; great-granddaughter, Couriya Swanagan; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Frances Swanagan Johnson Family, care of Kathryn Swanagan.

A memorial service for Frances will be held 11 am Thursday, November 6, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory will be in charge of arrangements.
