Frances Louise Bollinger

Frances Bollinger, 90, of Owensboro, died on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Beals, Kentucky to the late Bloomer Russell and Mary Jane Montgomery.

Frances retired from Wink's Market in Reed.
She also served as a professional caregiver to senior citizens for many years. Frances was also a longtime member of Newman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Newman Bollinger; a son, Larry Bollinger; and brothers, Herbert, James and Bill Montgomery.

Frances is survived by a son, Billy Joe Bollinger (Philomena) of Stanley; grandchildren, Bradley Bollinger (Christy) of Benton, KY, Tanja Hodges of Atlanta, GA and Tina Southern of Arizona; great grandchildren, Harrison, Chandler and Graham Hodges from Atlanta, Katie and Devon Southern of Arizona; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Enlow of Rockport, IN and Catherine Veach of Owensboro, KY; a brother, Truman Montgomery of Owensboro; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10 AM Friday, August 16 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Myke Templeton will officiate and the burial will be at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Reed. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 PM and on Friday after 9 AM at the funeral home.
