Floy Lee Ammons, 78, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her home and surrounded by her loving family, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born August 18, 1945, in Ohio County, to the late Wiley and Lillian Burden, and was raised by the late Arthur and Emma Bell. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ammons; a daughter, Tammie Hofmann; a granddaughter, Amber Hofmann; and siblings, Thurman, Willard, Carl, Ray, Edna, Edith, Claris.
Floy is survived by her two daughters, Jenny Hutchins and Ronda (Sean) Wise; a son, Alan (Kischa) Foy; grandchildren, Josh, Ryan, Sara, Justin, Tyrane, Sylera, Josh, Zack, Ali, Jordyn, Cayden, Taylor, Emma, and Christian; ten great-grandchildren; three siblings, Shirley, Barbara, and Wendell; and her four-legged companion, Sassy.
