Florine Hulsey

Florine Hulsey, 87, of 5110 Essex Drive, Owensboro, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Delaware on July 21, 1914 the daughter of Elbert Otis and Bertie Keller Jewell. Her husband, Wiley Hulsey, preceded her in death on January 25, 2001.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hall Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, William Hulsey of Oak Ridge, TN; one daughter, Bessie Lea Nolan of Owensboro, KY; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one brother, Deloit Jewell of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Joe Kitchens. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2002 and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
