Florence F. Farmer

Florence Faye Farmer, 83, of Owensboro, Ky died Tuesday, May 03, 2011, at Wellington Parc. She was born in Ohio County to the late Dee and Gracie Muffett Harrison, was an RN at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital, a member of Owensboro Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and University of Kentucky Basketball. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Irvan Farmer, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie Griffin and her husband Jimmy of Owensboro; sons, Steve Farmer of Owensboro and Scott Farmer and his wife Pam of Colorado; sister Raye Shultz of Owensboro; brother, Kenneth Harrison of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jason Griffin and his wife Kim and Sandra Griffin; and great-grandchildren, Shane Daugherty, Haleigh Griffin, Brittney Griffin and Reece Griffin.

Services will be held at Noon on Friday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friendship Church of Christ Cemetery in Ohio County.
