Floena Bennett Rhoads

Floena B. Rhoads, 77, of 2734 Fairview Drive, Owensboro, died Sunday, November 4, 2001, at her home. The Ohio County native retired as owner of Rhoads Poodle Shop after 20 years, ran the Farmers Market when it was on Kentucky 54 and was a member of Third Baptist Church. Her husband, Herman L. Rhoads, died in November 1997.

Survivors include a son, Michael L. Rhoads of Owensboro; a daughter, Marilyn Dickson of Owensboro; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Royce Brown of Owensboro.

Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home chapel in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
