FELIX L. FRENCH
Felix Latney French, 95, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Wellington Parc. He was born on May 10, 1915 in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late David Shively and Caroline Isabella Owens French. He was retired from the General Electric Co. and was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church where he served as a deacon emeritus and was a member of the Lamplighters Sunday School class. Felix was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and a 50 year plus member of the Joe Ellis Masonic Lodge #473. He was preceded in death by a brother, William F. French, and three sisters, Elizabeth, Mary, and Laura French.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Mary Alethea Howell French, two daughters, Judith Carol Artrip and husband Ken of Franklin, TN and Rebecca Ann Hughes and husband Greg of Huntsville, AL, two grandchildren, Eric Scott Hughes and Megan Brooke Hughes, both of Huntsville, great nephews, Jason Vincent and Cody Stirsman, and great nieces, Amanda Messamore and Jennifer Ward.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 18 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
