Faye Morgan Jackson

Faye Morgan Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, faithful servant, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born on March 11, 1937, in Owensboro, KY to the late Gus and Christine Chapman Morgan. Faye spent most of her life in Utica, where she touched the hearts of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.

A devoted member of Maceo Baptist Church, Faye lived her faith through her actions, embodying the spirit of service and love that defined her life. She dedicated her time as a volunteer with the Daviess County Homemakers Association and the Daviess-McLean Baptist Center in Owensboro, where her commitment to helping others shone brightly.

Faye was more than a friend to many, she was a second mother and grandmother, offering guidance and support to all who crossed her path. Her nurturing spirit and generous heart made her a cherished figure to those who knew her.

Faye’s legacy is beautifully encapsulated in the scripture, "Well done, my good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23), a testament to the life she lived and the love she shared.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Morgan; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Faye Hines.

Faye is survived by her children, Debra Jackson Blandford of Owensboro, Sharon Jackson Cook of Summerfield, FL, Deanna Jackson Lambrich of Owensboro, and Craig (Donna) Jackson of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Joshua (Dena) Hines, Mark Mobley, Lance Mobley, Lindsay (Matt) Hawes, Meredith (Luke) Wilkerson, Noah (Brandi) Jackson, and Samuel Jackson; great-grandchildren, Preslie, Anslie, and Kaiden Hines, Hayden Mobley, Morgan, Carson, and Deacon Hawes, Brantley and Mary Claire Wilkerson, and Isla Mae Jackson; siblings, Henry (Joan) Morgan, Carolyn (d. Robert) Morgan, Jerry Morgan, Herschel (Sherry) Morgan, and Gayle (Roy) Hayden; along with many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Faye Morgan Jackson will be deeply missed, but her spirit of compassion and wisdom will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to love her.

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Hermitage Care and Rehab who lovingly cared for our mother over the last several years.
