Faye M. Lohwasser

Faye M. Lohwasser, 85, long time resident of Owensboro, passed away October 26, 2017 in Elkton, Maryland at her home. She was born July 9, 1932 in Muhlenburg County, KY to the late William Levan and Fannie Sitez Levan. Faye was an Army wife for 21 years, also working many years as a bookkeeper in several nursing homes in Philadelphia. She enjoyed bowling in the senior league on Fridays, along with her husband of 61 years Eugene Lohwasser,. Faye also volunteered each Wednesday with the organization known as the "Bags of Love" here in Owensboro. More than anything, she loved to bake cakes and was known to spread the seasonal joy to many people at the local bank that she did business with.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lohwasser; her sons, Michael and David Lee.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Lohwasser-Bearchild of Elkton, MD
The memorial service will be 12PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 with visitation beginning at 11AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
