Faye Ann Johnson

Faye Ann Johnson, 63, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born July 1, 1945, to Roosevelt and Virginia Perkins Haygan in Henderson County. She retired from Leisure Years Nursing Home after many years of service, and she enjoyed reading and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Haygan in 2005, and a brother, Theodore Roosevelt Haygan, Jr. in 1961.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Tony Johnson of Owensboro; her children, John Gant of Louisville, Kimberly Jackson of Owensboro and Paul Gant of Henderson; two step-sons, George Johnson, Jr. of Owensboro and Dale Johnson of Henderson; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; her father, Roosevelt Haygan of Henderson; two sisters, Sonia Knight, and Tina Haygan, both of Henderson, two brothers, Steve Haygan and Ricky Haygan, both of Henderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.
