Faye Mason Jackson

September 21, 1919 — August 27, 2003

Faye Mason Jackson, 84, of Owensboro, died Wednesday at Leisure Years Nursing Home. She was retired from General Electric after 38 years. She was a member of Larkin Baptist Church in Patronville, Indiana, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, deep sea fishing and music. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her four children, Harley Dupin, in April 5, 1981, her second husband, William Early in January 1956, and her third husband, Carroll Sanford Jackson on March 17, 2003, and two sons, William Harold Dupin, December 11, 1996, and Sherman Lee Dupin, January 1, 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Velma J. Dunn and son-in-law, William David Dunn of Owensboro, a son, Harley Junior Dupin of Owensboro, a niece, Joyce Fay Shadrick, whom she raised, of Henderson, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Joseph Peace Mission or to Hall Street Baptist Church, Building Fund, or may be expressed online at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
