Faye Cole

Faye Cole, 92, of Owensboro, passed away August 13, 2016 at Wellington Parc. Born April 14, 1924 in Huttig, AR to the late Chester and Inez Williams, Faye was a long time member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, needle work and gardening. She loved her family and built her life around them. Faye can always be remembered by the sparkle in her eyes, and being the true sweetheart she was. Faye is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, L.D. Cole; siblings, Mary Molnaird, Jay Williams and Frances Molnaird.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Kressman (Gene) of Prairieville, LA; sons, Robert Cole (Mary) of Owensboro, Gary Cole (Liane) of Princeton, and Loyd Cole (Carman) of Philpot; sister, Marie Nelson of Huttig, AR; grandchildren, Kris Cole (Jen), Kim Herman, Jeremy Cole, Amanda Keating (Matt), Brandon Livingston, Vicky Payne, Kenneth Kressman (Dessie) and Keith Kressman (Kristi); 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Bro. Myke Templeton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
