Fanny Moretti Paris

Fanny Moretti Paris, 81, of Owensboro, was called home Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 3, 1923 to the late Hugho and Assunta Lastrucci Moretti in Florence, Italy. She was a member of Nickel Ridge Church, a homemaker and was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved being with her family, also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her pet, Coco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Paris, who died September 27, 1999.

Survivors include one son, Michael Bruce Brewster Paris of Owensboro; one daughter, Kimberly Renee Sosh and her husband, Gary of Whitesville; one grandson, Joshua A. Sosh; two step-sons, Albert Daniel Paris of Henderson and Lonnie Paris of Owensboro; three step-daughters, Lois Kincaid, Martha Sims and Joyce Peay, all of Owensboro; twenty-four step-grandchildren, thirty-one step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Leonetta Moretti of Florence, Italy; one nephew, Paulo Dante of Italy.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and after 12:00 noon Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.glennfuneralhome.com
