Ezma Mae Riley, 65, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born in Greenville, KY to the late Maymon Lewis and Eula Gary Wells.
Mrs. Riley worked as a medical assistant with Dr. Kim for many years. She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and fishing. They both loved dogs and in years past had trained show dogs. She still enjoyed the companionship of her two Boston Terriers, Lulu and Molly.
Ezma was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Dallas E. Riley in 2017.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Riley (Sarah); a grandson, Knox Riley; sisters, Ida Settlemires (Glenn) of Nashville, TN, her twin, Lara Slayton of Evansville, Judy Cobb (Roy) of Central City, Clara Quisenberry (Larry) and Anna Mae Richardson (Jeff) of Greenville; a brother, Morris Wells (Linda) of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
The service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 6 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Dr. James Wedding will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 until 8 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and Thursday after 9 AM at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Entombment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
