Evon Fulkerson

Evon Fulkerson, 67, of Jackson Street, Owensboro, died at her daughter's home on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Evon was born in Island, Kentucky February 4, 1943 to the late R.B. and Myrtle (Lagrand) Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Chapel Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially ceramics, and collected family photos. Evon had a huge loving heart and enjoyed taking care of people.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Lori Ann Fulkerson, and several brothers and sisters, Mamie, Rosie, Audravon, James, and Junior.
Surviving is her husband, James Martin Fulkerson, sons, Thomas Arby Fulkerson of Centertown, James Dean Fulkerson of Hartford, Richard Lewis Fulkerson of Pleasant Ridge, and daughters, Adriene Roseno and Emma Fraim both of Owensboro, brothers, Jessie M. Jones of Greenville, and Robert L. Jones of Utica, 17 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
