Everett Henry Smith

Everett Henry Smith, Jr., 60, of 420 Hathaway Street, Owensboro, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born June 12, 1948 to the late Edward Henry and Rosella Goldsboro Smith in Cincinnati, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou Smith, a daughter, Eva Rose Smith, and a brother, Simon Smith.

Survivors include his son, Gerald Smith, two daughters, Joyce Bermudez and Polly Simmons, both of Owensboro; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother and two sisters, Tommie Smith, Eva Smith and Lucille Smith, all of San Angelo, TX.

Services and burial will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
