Everett Russell Roberts

Everett Russell Roberts, 77 of Owensboro died Saturday, August 26, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Lewisport, Kentucky, he was a son of the late William C. Bud and Lucy Clark Roberts. Mr. Roberts was retired from Whirlpool, where he worked in maintenance for over thirty-seven years.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Roberts; a great granddaughter Morgan Taylor Sacra; brothers, William Jack Roberts and Hubert Bubby Roberts; and a sister Clara Jane Beaver.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margie Rhinerson Roberts; and children, Larry Roberts and friend Reva Tedrick, Mike Roberts and wife Angie of Philpot; Bill Roberts of Owensboro; Shirley Fuller and fiancames Thomas of Owensboro; Cathy Alford and husband Steve of Lewisport; Richard Dale Roberts of St. Petersburg, FL., and daughter-in-law Karen Sue Garrett of Maceo, grand children, Larry Roberts and wife Lori, Tammy Kirby and husband Chris, Stephanie Hawkins, Jeremy Alford and wife Jennifer, Michael Roberts and wife Mandy, Cindy Alford, Christina Roberts, Natalie Laplant and husband Eric, Tiffany Stodghill, Juston Roberts and Dakota Roberts, 21 great grand children; brothers Harry Roberts and wife Willa; and Ben Roberts and wife Theresa of Owensboro; and sisters Mary Detrick and husband Walter of Davenport, IO.; and Margaret Louise Payne of Rockport, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Services, officiated by the Rev. Bob Farmer, are at 12:00 PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 2 until 8:00 pm on Monday, and at 9 am on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home.
